I wanted something timeless and feminine.
Additional Information:
I was slightly geographically challenged to be entering this competition so I duct taped my children to the wall, attached a coca-cola drip and flew to Sydney to grab my fabrics.
It took every nano-ounce of creativeness extracted from my nerdy brain to come up with a design that (hopefully) wouldn't bomb. End project didn't look a thing like what I had planned. It was a self evolving accident.
I spent a large proportion of my time doing three trials of the foundaton.. nothing like a tight fit to redistribute all the squishy bits.
Note to self: buy a full length mirror.
I'm very happy with the end result but alas
it is very unlikely I will have anywhere to wear it as my chances for an Oscar nomination this year (and subsequent years) are pretty slim.
