About my Linen and Lace
- Pattern Used: My own design
- Fabrics Used: Ecru 2000 Lace and Medium Ivory - Enzyme Washed Linen
- Time To Create: Around 20 hours fiddling with the design
- Dress Influenced By: I have been influenced by the Mad Men TV show and that period. I wanted to create something suitable for a wedding or the races
- Additional Information: The dress is fully lined and boned with tulle under the skirt.The bust is pintucked with lace detailing. The skirt is gathered at the front with pleats at the back. The back has cross over straps that thread through botton holes with covered buttons

- My Experience: I have an associate diploma in Fashion Design from the Whitehouse School. I have had my own business doing dressmaking, but have been a stay at home mum for the last 4 years. This year I won the Fashion Less Waste Competition run by the Australian Museum.

Gorgeous and so many features! Love the work on the bodice and lace inserts with the pleats! The back detail is totally wow too! Good luck with the comp! Lou
