This dress started with the fabric, as soon as I saw it, I knew I wanted to use it. I wanted to create something fun, flirty yet still have a classic edge to it. I see the woman wearing this dress as a young, modern 'Stepford Wife' who also has a bit of the Marilyn Monroe edge and sex-appeal.
Additional Information:
I would like to thank my model Lucy who was kind enough to gain a few pounds and go from a size 8 to a 10 for me for this project!
