When it came to the silhouette, I wanted to create a dress that celebrated the curves of the female body, I wanted the dress to ooze that classic, timeless and feminine sex appeal.
As for the stripes, they looked fun! The cherry red was an amazing colour and it put a new edge on the 'lady in red'. I used this opportunity to play with the the stripes and test my pattern-making skills with the multi-directional panels. I wanted them to draw attention in a new way.
