Dress Influenced By:
For this dress I was influenced by the outfits of porcelain dolls. Full circular skirts, pin-tucked details on the bodice, keyhole at the back and bound finishes. This dress is feminine and flirty to make any girl feel pretty

My Experience:
I grew up with dresses made by my grandma, she was such an inspirational person in my life and has fuelled my love of sewing and creating. I started sewing in high school followed by studying at Sydney Design Institute where my skills really developed. I love not only sewing but also the challenge and problem solving of pattern making.

My Sewing Goals:
I am currently working on launching my own fashion label called Born in Byron. The design aesthetic is bold, captivating and head turning. These pieces are designed to have you stand out in a crowd! The debut range is a cruise collection including swimwear, outerwear and pool side accessories.
