Dress Influenced By:
The inspiration for this dress was a mixture of Star Trek and the ocean (quite an odd combination, I know). I wanted the silhouette to look like a 1960's sci fi straight dress with the colours being reminiscent of star fish.
Additional Information:
The edges of the circle cut outs at the back of the dress were all hand embroidered with a button stitch with threads that match the silk thread stripes in the main fabric.
