Black and white silk twill from Tessuti, silk habutae lining from Tessuti, silk organza bought online.
Time To Create:
The silk dress 3 days, the four muslins about two weeks.
Dress Influenced By:
I love Japanese sewing books and I think Hisako Sato is a genius. Her ideas are so fresh and different. This particular dress is just one piece put together like a puzzle. I love it!
I am glad it translated from a knit pattern to a woven the way I imagined.
