about 3 weeks - including many hours spent hand sewing!

Dress Influenced By:
I was inspired by glamorous 1950s beach babes, black & white fashion worn on Derby Day at the races and the trend for unique vintage fashion!

Additional Information:
I was so excited by the amazing selection of spot & striped fabrics at Tessuti's and couldn't wait to get started on this dress! After experimenting on my mannequin I decided to create my entire dress from hand sewn fabric "yoyos" allowing me to mix and clash all the different spots and stripes and create texture! The contrasting striped straps and short length give the dress a modern feel - it's the perfect dress for a day at the races :)
