About my Little Black Dress

  • Pattern Used: My own design
  • Fabrics Used: Cotton viscose, silk organza, ribbon, lace
  • Time To Create: 22 hours
  • Dress Influenced By: The theme of Red Carpet LBD: A gorgeous special occasion dress that can be worn many times over? I tried to solve this common dilemma by incorporating rich details and textures (and a high shine when hit by the photographer's flash), with a cotton base and simple silhouette to make the dress comfortable and wearable for many different occasions.
  • Additional Information: The ruffles on the back are silk organza, ribbon and lace. Photographer: Garth Davies

Love the front, not crazy about the back. Would have rather extended the lace in front to the back in lieu of the ruffles. Quite wearable though!
