Tessuti Awards 2010
Tessuti Fabrics, that treasure trove of designer silks, wools, linen, cottons and blends from the great fabric houses of the world, has watched the creativity and craftmanship of its many customers grow over the years.
This year we are expanding the competition, inviting people from across Australia to enter our online event. In two categories, we would like to recognise the up and coming young designers and the individual talents and clever creations of 'home couture'.
All finalists will be invited to Sydney for final judging and two winners will receive a trip to the world's premier fashion capital, New York. Entries close on September 14, 2010

The 2010 Tessuti Awards are open to anyone in Australia.
How do I enter?
The 2010 Tessuti Awards is open to anyone living in Australia. If you would like to enter, all you need to do is Register Online, create your garment, photograph it and upload the photos to your profile. Be sure to review the Judging Criteria and our helpful Photo Guidelines before entering your dress.
What are the categories?
We have two categories this year. The Little Black Dress and the Frock Up In Colour categories are open to anyone in Australia. You can only enter one garment in each category. This year we also have a Visitor's Choice prize, where visitors to this website can vote for their favorite dresses from both categories.
How will it be judged?
Judging for the Little Black Dress and Frock Up In Colour categories will be undertaken in two stages after entries close on September 14th. A minimum of five finalists will be selected from both categories and invited to Sydney to attend the final Judging. A select panel of judges with choose the winners.
How do I vote?
For a little bit of extra fun, this year we've added a Visitor's Choice prize as an extra way for you to win a Tessuti gift voucher. Quite simply, any visitor to this website can browse all the garments and vote for any garment. If you really love the creation, give it five hearts. You can even invite your friends to vote.
