2008 Tessuti Awards - Win a trip to Paris

Our second annual Tessuti Awards was a HUGE success. Thanks so very much to every one who attended as a guest, sponsor, entrant or judge.

Congratulations Natasha!

Natasha from Cronulla was the 1st place winner in The Little Black Dress category, winning a trip to Paris with a two week summer course at the French fashion institute - Esmod International. The judges loved her simple but very effective dress design which featured a multi-layered ruffled neckpiece made from various silk and cotton textures which was totally de-tachable!!!!

2007 Tessuti Awards - Win a trip to Italy

Congratulations to our winner of the 2007 Tessuti Awards, Elizabeth Finckh (in the blue dress), a creative arts student, she began sewing at the beginning of the year, taking lessons at Trish Connery's Sewing School in Turramurra.

Beth chose the fabric simply because she loved the texture and colour. She described the inverted pleats as her favourite feature of the garment which was worn on the night by her sister Luci.

Great work Beth - we can't wait to see your future creations. We hope you enjoy your trip to Italy.
